Bank of Mauritius, 2000 Rupees, 1998, serial number BA045659, red and purple, Seewoosagur Ramgoolam at left, reverse, man with ox cart and sugar cane,(TBB B419 Pick 48), in PMG holder 65 EPQ Gem Uncirculated, highest denomination in this series and as a point of interest this series was short-lived and recalled in 1998 after causing riots in Port Louis.
