ABBASID: Abu Muhammad Musa Al-Hadi (785-786), AR Dirham (2.93g), Al-Haruniya, AH 169. Reverse citing governor Khuzayma Ibn Khazim and Al-Hadi as caliph, also citing Harun Al-Rashid as "ibn amir al-mu'mineen" (son of the Commander of the Faithful). A-- (unpublished, Album only lists this type with Harun for the mint of Al-Haruniya year AH 170, not AH 169). Lovely, extremely fine. Very rare.

Al-Haruniya was a small coastal city in Al-Sham (Levant), attributed by name to Harun Al-Rashid.
