The selection of 2018 commemorative coins celebrates the
fifth birthday of Prince George, future heir to the throne, with a £5 coin.
There are three commemorative £2 coins, one celebrating the 100th
anniversary of the Royal Air Force, another the 200th anniversary of
the publication of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, or the Modern
Prometheus, and a final coin marking the First World War Armistice.
Finally, there is a 50p coin commemorating the 100th anniversary of
the Representation of the People's Act 1918, a cornerstone of British
democracy.
