Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette; behind neck, uncertain symbol. Rev. 𐊜𐊁𐊕𐊚𐊆 - [𐊓𐊆𐊍𐊍𐊁𐊇𐊆] ('xereni pillewi' in Lycian) Bearded head of Kherei to right, wearing Persian Kyrbasia; all within round incuse. Mørkholm-Zahle 45. Müseler VI, 50-51 (same obverse die). SNG von Aulock -. Rare. A beautifully toned example with an exceptionally attractive obverse. The usual tiny die break on the obverse and the reverse struck very slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
