ΟΜΟΝΟΙΑ СЄΒΑСΤΩΝ Marcus Aurelius, togate on the left, and Lucius Verus, togate on the right, standing facing each other and clasping their right hands; in his left hand, Marcus Aurelius holds a scroll. Rev. ΙЄΡΟΠΟΛЄΙΤΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΠΡΟС ΤΩ ΠΥΡΑM• Draped bust of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and carrying thyrsos over his left shoulder; in field to right, bunch of grapes. RPC IV online 10242 corr. (obverse legend). SNG Levante -. SNG Paris 2229-30. Rare and perhaps the finest known. Very light doubling on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
