ΔIΔΡAXMON Simpulum and lituus. McAlee 272. RPC I 4171. Rare and undoubtedly among the finest known examples of this interesting issue. A bright, attractive and perfectly centered piece struck on a broad flan. Light cleaning marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.


This is one of very few ancient coins to explicitly mention the denomination on the reverse.
