D N IVSTINIANVS P P AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justinian I facing, holding globus cruciger in his right hand and with a shield decorated with horseman attacking a fallen foe over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG Є / CONOB Angel standing facing, holding long jewelled cross with his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; in field to right, star. DOC 8d. MIB 6. SB 139. A fresh and lustrous piece. Very light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
