Thessaly, Skotussa.
Early to mid 4th century BC. Æ dichalkon, 2.74 g. Head of young Dionysos right or head of young Herakles right / ΣKO bunch of grapes with two vine leaves, one on each side, hanging from vine branch. BCD Thessaly II 746.2 or 747 (this rev. die). Very fine. Comment of BCD: These coins are always of lovely style and I rate them amongst the best engraver's art that we can find in Thessaly. Unfortunately they are rarely found in decent condition.
