Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated to left on backless throne, holding eagle with closed wings on his outstretched right hand and long scepter in his left; in field to left, horse grazing to left over thunderbolt; below throne, monogram. An unpublished variant, see Price 1588 var. (cf. CNG e418, 247, same dies?). Extremely rare. Lightly toned. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
