TROAS. Abydos. Circa 175-75 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.59 g, 11 h), Pherenikos. Draped bust of Artemis to right,with bow and quiver over her shoulder. Rev. ABH-ΔH-NΩN / ΦEPENI-KOY Eagle standing right with spread wings; to right, bunch of grapes; all within laurel wreath tied at the bottom. Callataÿ, Abydos sur Aesillas - (D14/R-). SNG von Aulock 7540 var. (arrangement of magistrate's name). Lightly toned and clearly struck. Good very fine.
