AEOLIS. Kyme. Circa 165-140 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 34 mm, 16.77 g, 12 h), Herakleides, 155-143 BC. Head of the nymph Kyme to right, her hair bound up with a broad taenia. Rev. ΚΥΜΑΙΩΝ/ΗΡΑΚΛΕΙΔΗΣ Horse standing right, left leg raised over eagle standing right on a thunderbolt; below horse, one-handled vase; all within olive wreath. Oakley 65 c (this coin). Toned and attractive. Extremely fine.
