CILICIA. Nagidos. Circa 400-385/4 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 10.71 g, 3 h). Aphrodite seated left on throne; holding phiale in her outstretched right hand and resting her left elbow on the throne back; to left, altar; to right, Eros standing left, crowning Aphrodite with a wreath held in his right hand. Rev. ΝΑΓΙΔΕΩΝ Dionysos standing left, holding bunch of grapes in his right hand and thyrsos with his left; in field at upper left, Α within circle; at field on lower left, Ν (retrograde). BMC 12. Casabonne type 4. Lederer 25. Bright and lustrous. Some traces of die rust and some uncleaned deposits, otherwise, good extremely fine.
