Geta Caesar, 198-209. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 8.56 g, 7 h). Seleucia ad Calycadnum. ΠΟ CΕΠ ΓΕΤΑC ΚΑΙ Bare-headed and draped bust of Geta to right. Rev. CΕΛΕΥΚΕΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΠΡΟC ΚΑΛΥ-Κ-Α -Δ-ΝΩ / C - Ε Dionysos standing left, wearing long robes and holding long staff (thyrsos?) with his left hand and pouring from a kantharos held in his right. Prieur 747 = SNG Levante 750 = SNG von Aulock 8708 (this coin). Extremely rare, if not unique. Toned, attractive and with an obverse portrait of distinguished quality. Very fine.
