D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing, his head turned slightly to right, holding a spear over his right shoulder and with a shield, ornamented with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left. Rev. VOT XXX MVLT XXXX A / CONOB Constantinopolis seated left on throne, her left foot on prow, holding globus cruciger in her right hand, long scepter with her left, and leaning her left elbow on a shield at her side; in field to right, star. Depeyrot 81/1. RIC 257. Well-centered, well struck and attractive. Extremely fine.
