SICILY. Naxos. Circa 461-430 BC. Litra (Silver, 11.5 mm, 0.72 g, 1 h). Head of bearded Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. NAXI (retrograde) Grape bunch within an ivy wreath. Cahn 73.3 (V53/R61) (this coin), the obverse illustrated on pl IV. Toned. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.
