MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Olynthos. Circa 382-379 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.47 g, 3 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Χ-Α-Λ|ΚΙΔ|ΕΩΝ Kithara with seven strings; all within very shallow incuse square. Robinson & Clement Group H -, but these dies unpublished. Clear, attractive and nicely toned. Good extremely fine.
