Syracuse, tetradrachm, c. 500 BC, ΣΥΡΑ, slow quadriga driven right by charioteer holding reins in both hands, rev., head of Arethusa left in oval frame sunk into centre of quadripartite incuse square, 17.25g, die axis 3.00 (Boehringer 23; Rizzo pl.
