STUART. Charles I. 1625-1649. AR Threepence (20.5mm, 1.29 g, 4h). Exeter mint. Dated 1644. Crowned and armored bust left; III (mark of value) to right / Coat-of-arms over cross fourchée; date above. Brooker 1072 (same dies); North 2580; SCBC 3089. Good VF, toned, a little weak in parts.
