Orange coral head, possibly of Harpokrates. Egypt, Late Period, 664-332 BC. Small head of a bald boy, possibly representing Harpokrates (the child Horus). Height: 8mm. Miniscule hole on one side of head, otherwise well-preserved. A tiny but very interesting piece.

Reportedly purchased from Ariadne Galleries, New York, early 1980s.
