Terracotta oil lamp with horse-head handle. Roman, 3rd-4th centuries AD. Oil lamp with trench decorated with fauna and surrounded by a series of annulets. Two holes present at trench. Three large nozzle holes before. Handle is in the form of horse's head and neck facing forward. Bottom decorated with a bordered design, perhaps a group of wheat ears arranged in a circle. Dimensions: 11.2x7.7x7.0cm. Intact. A very fine piece.
