Terracotta oil lamp with bearded head. Roman, 3rd-4th centuries AD. Large oil lamp with dimpled central recess with a small hole. Surrounding, a bearded head extends toward the neck, with decorations flanking. The neck of the lamp is short, ending in a wide nozzle with a small piercing just above. A large handle extends from the back of the body in three loops joined together by a single band. Dimensions: 14.1x8.5x7.4cm. Chip on band of handle and some minor scratches, otherwise a well-preserved specimen.
