THESSALY, Pharsalos. Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 5.64 g, 2h). Helmeted head of Athena right, Skylla on bowl / Φ-[A]-P-Σ (partially retrograde), Thessalian cavalryman, holding lagobolon, on horse rearing left; all within incuse square. Lavva 159 (V73/R91); BCD Thessaly –; HGC 4, 628. VF, lightly toned, struck with worn dies, porous. Rare with reverse type left.
