Large Chinese blue-on-white unglazed porcelain bowl, intact, from the "Hoi An Hoard" (late 1400s). 756 grams, 2-3/8" tall, 9-3/8" diameter. Simple bowl of flowers-and-leaf design in original bisque surface with small discoloration, as made, the wreck found and salvaged in the 1990s with most of the porcelain sold at auction by Butterfields in 2000.
