Lima, Peru, gold bust 8 escudos, Ferdinand VII, 1815JP, rare provenance. CT-21; KM-129.1. 27.01 grams. Somewhat grainy surfaces with hints of original luster, some lamination errors on obverse along with adjustment marks and slightly weak center on reverse, AU overall with pleasing gold color, not a rare coin but rare as from this wreck. With generic certificate from the salvagers. Recovered from: Sabina, sunk in 1842 off South Africa
