Issued by the American-born Henry Meiggs (1811-1877) to finance the construction of a railway line from LA Oroya to Cerro de Pasco, Peru. His printed signature, as Enrique Meiggs, is found in the lower right. Fine with a couple of pinholes, residue spot at lower center.
