Potosi, Bolivia, cob 4 reales, 1654E, rotated-4 denomination (very rare), PH at top. S-P37a; KM-18. 13.91 grams. Solid flan with no corrosion, good full pillars-and-waves with clear rotated (or retrograde) 4 for denomination (known for 1653 but this is the first we've seen for 1654), decent full cross, two dates, three mintmarks and assayers, nicely toned. With certificate from the salvagers. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
