Macedon, Akanthos AR Tetradrachm. Circa 470-430 BC. Attic standard. Lion to right, leaping upon and attacking bull crouching to left; ivy leaf above, between ΔI and grape bunch(?), floret in exergue / AKANΘION in shallow incuse around quadripartite square, the quarters raised and granulated. Unpublished in the standard references, but cf. Desneux 93. 17.33g, 29mm, 4h.
