Rare: only two specimens in Reka Devnia hoard. The same type is common at Rome, but with obverse legend ANTONINVS PIVS AVG and without COS in exergue on reverse. The Eastern reverse legend is anomalous since on the official reckoning Caracalla's fourth tribunician year ended on 10 December 201 and he did not become consul until 1 January 202.. MS
