THESSALY, Pharsalos. Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 5.83 g, 6h). Obverse die signed by Telephantos. Helmeted head of Athena right; small [T]H between crest and neck guard / [Φ]-A-[P-Σ] (partially retrograde), warrior, wearing petasos, holding lagobolon overhead, on horseback right within incuse square. Lavva 87 (V43/R52); BCD Thessaly II 639; HGC 4, 624. VF, toned, light porosity, a few marks, off center on reverse.
