THESSALY, Pherai. Early-mid 3rd century BC. Æ Chalkous (15mm, 3.16 g, 1h). Head of the water nymph Hypereia facing slightly left, wearing wreath of reeds; to left, fish swimming upward / [Φ]EPAIΩ[N], Ennodia, wearing long chiton and holding long torch transversely across her body, seated facing on horse galloping right; to upper left, lion's head fountain spout to left, with water pouring from its mouth. Rogers 533; BCD Thessaly II 718; HGC 4, 569. Good VF, dark green patina. Well centered for issue.
