DYNASTS of LYCIA. Kuprilli. Circa 480-440 BC. AR Third Stater (12mm, 2.74 g). Uncertain mint. Winged lion standing right, head left, raising forepaw / Triskeles; K-O-Π around; all in dotted square within incuse square. Mørkholm & Zahle 65 (A26/R24); cf. Müseler IV, 32 (sixth stater); SNG Copenhagen Supp.–; cf. SNG von Aulock 4137 (stater). Near VF, lightly toned, struck with worn obverse die, slightly off center on reverse. Very rare.
