George II (1727-60), Shilling, 1734, large lettering, reads dei graiia, rev. nine strings to harp (ESC 1706 {1197}; S.3700), the obverse legend with an odd die punch resulting in the t of gratia, having atypically long and splayed serifs at its base to give the semblance of a capital i, otherwise lightly flecked, lustrous, a pleasing extremely fine.
