An Egyptian scarab in bronze stamp seal mount, 2nd Intermediate Period, c. 1750 - 1570 B.C. , the bronze mount with four arms joining an oval bezel, all surmounted by a suspension loop. The base of the scarab, carved from steatite, served as the stamp seal and depicts a falcon and a hawk standing between erect cobras (uraei). 16 x 11 x 13mm. Light deposits and rarely encountered with original mount! Ex Orange County private collection. [Est. Value $250 - $350].
