A pair of ancient stone stamp seals. Ex California Museum of Art D-Accession. The first is a black serpentine stamp seal with swastika device, Iran, 4th Millennium BC, of flattened cone shape with horizontal hole, the base with incised lines. Dia: 1.74cm. The second is a yellow limestone stamp seal from Turkmenia, c. 1000 - 800 BC, prism-shape with horizontal drill for suspension, the base with a winged deity. 16 x 11 x 11mm. Some weathering. Both ex California Museum of Art De-Accession, acquired 1989 (SS2606 & SS3804). [Est. Value $200 - $300].
