His radiate head right; T CAESAR IMP COS III CENS / Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopia; FELICITAS PVBLICA S C. RIC II.1 742 (Vespasian). Near Very Fine; dark green patina with areas of lighter green and red; well centered, well struck, bold portrait.
The elder son of Vespasian, Titus "served in Germany and Britain and commanded a legion in his father's Jewish campaign...captur(ing) Jerusalem in AD 70." (Sear, RC) But later back in Rome he proved a benevolent emperor during his reign from A.D. 79-81.
