Republic 8 Reales 1833 Ca-MR XF - Altered Surfaces, Chihuahua mint, KM377.2, DP-Ca03 ("Rare"). A nice representation of the very attractive die style of 1832-1833. With full realization of the unique Rays motif and only moderate wear observed. The "Libertad" appears to have been re-engraved in a possible attempt to restore the text. Overall a solid piece and a delight to encounter in any condition.
