Republic 8 Reales 1834 Ca-AM XF Details (Scratches) NGC, Chihuahua mint, KM377.2, DP-Ca05. A quality showing of a more elusive date for the Chihuahua 8 Reales. There are three small drags, one horizontally on the cap motif, and two diagonal under and beside the left wing of the eagle. These tiny defect do little to diminish the intrinsic appeal of this rare piece or its overall eye appeal of nicely expressed details, graphite toning, and subtle iridescence.
