Republic 8 Reales 1881 Cn-JD UNC, KM377.3. Culiacan mint, KM377.3, DP-Cn41 ("Scarce to Very Scarce"). Normal date variety. A tad bit of weakness is noted within the cap motif and the reverse is truly impressive as the details in the feathers are well pronounced and the relief of the eagle seems slightly more articulated than usual. A balanced pale blonde glow throughout culminates for a quite attractive piece.
