Republic 8 Reales 1845 Gc-MP XF Details (Cleaned) NGC, Guadalupe y Calvo mint, KM377.7, DP-GC02. Mule variety with normal cap and square tail eagle. Very rare as a type and the embodiment of what draws collectors to this challenging series. The present specimen showcases some better design pronunciation than usually encountered and only a minimal amount of actual observed wear. There is a unique pale blue patina likely the result of a cleaning attempt as noted by NGC.
