Republic 8 Reales 1864 O-FR MS64 NGC, Oaxaca mint, KM377.11, DP-Oa13. There is a lot to examine on this "busy" specimen, which is not only quite attractive, but which also exhibits a host of interesting qualities, including a character-bestowing distribution of moderate adjustment marks on the obverse (none of which are situated so as to detract from the coin), a die break on the reverse, and a slightly convex flan which grants the luster an admirable rolling effect upon rotation under light.
