Henry VIII (1509-1547), Posthumous coinage, Groat, Tower, mm. grapple on rev. only, bust 6, Lombardic lettering on obv., Roman on rev., reads henric viii, roses in forks, lozenge stops on obv., none on rev., 2.06g/3h (Whitton (d) var.; N 1871 var.; S 2403 var.). Scratched on face, otherwise about fine; possibly the only known specimen £400-£500
