Q. Curtius and M. Sergius Silus. 116-115 BC. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.86 g, 4h). Rome mint. Helmeted head of Roma right; X (mark of value) to left, Q. [CV]RT to right / Jupiter driving galloping quadriga right, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter; lituus above, M • SI(LA) below horses, ROMA on tablet in exergue. Crawford 285/2; Sydenham 537a; Curtia 2a; cf. RBW 1114. EF, lightly toned, lustrous, some weakness of strike and metal flaws, a few deposits on the obverse.
