NORMAN. Henry I. 1100-1135. AR Penny (18.5mm, 1.33 g, 4h). Quadrilateral on Cross Fleurée type (BMC xv). Uncertain mint; Godwine, moneyer. Struck circa 1125-1135. Crowned bust facing slightly left, holding scepter / + GODP[NE] : ON : [...], quadrilateral with incurved sides and fleurs at limbs; all over cross fleurée. North 871; SCBC 1276. Near EF, toned, usual weak strike, mint name off flan.
