GERMANY, Pfalz bei Rhein (Alte Kurlinie). Ludwig IV von Wittelsbach. 1436-1449. AR Groschen – Weißpfennig (24mm, 1.91 g, 11h). Bacharach mint. Dated 1445 in Roman numerals. Coat-of-arms surrounded by three smaller coats-of-arms; all within trilobe / Half-length bust of St. Petrus facing slightly right within Gothic archway, holding scepter and key; coat-of-arms below. Levinson I-78. Good VF, toned, some striking weakness.
