CILICIA, Mallos. Circa 440-390 BC. AR Obol (8mm, 0.79 g, 11h). Bearded janiform head / Head (of Bellerophon?) left, wearing cap; MAP before; all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. Casabonne type 1; Gökturk –; SNG France –; SNG Levante –; Traité –; Brindley 309. Good VF, lightly toned, granular surfaces. Extremely rare, and probably the finest known.
