PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy I Soter. 305-282 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 14.22 g, 12h). Alexandreia mint. Struck circa 300-285 BC. Diademed head right, wearing aegis around neck, small Δ behind ear / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; to left, P above monogram. Svoronos 255; SNG Copenhagen 70–1; Noeske 41–2. Near EF, dark toning, obverse just a touch off center.
