MARINIANA, wife of Valerian I, (c.253-260 A.D.), base silver antoninianus, Rome Mint, (2.81 g), obv. diademed and veiled bust, draped to right of Mariniana, all on crescent, around DIVAE MARINIANAE, rev. CONSECRATIO, around, peacock standing facing head to left, tail in splendour, (S.10067, RIC 3, C.3, Cunetio Hoard 646 [22 spec.]). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.
