SC within wreath, (S.-, MacAlee 745c, SNG Cop 245); Philip I, (A.D. 244-249), billon tetradrachm, (13.09 g), issued 249, obv. laureate cuirassed bust left of Philip I, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to left with wreath, around, ANTIOXIA over S C in exergue, (cf.S.3958, McAlee 941b, Prieur 422); Trajan Decius, (A.D. 249-251 B.C.), billon tetradrachm, (11.03 g), obv. bust right of Trajan Decius, draped and cuirassed, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to right with wreath, (cf.S.4209, McAlee 1113d, Prieur 529) (illustrated).
