CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, created on a bronze cartwheel penny of 1797 shaved smooth on both sides, on the obverse is engraved a man facing a lady and holding her hand and in a border around this is inscribed, 'ISAAC HUXTABLE' at the top and 'FANNY CARR' at the bottom, the reverse has 16 inscribed lines and on eight of these with a blank line between is inscribed the message, 'The time/may pass and/years may fly and/every Oak decay &/die & every Joyfull (sic)/dream may set/yet youll (sic) never/can forget'. Fine.

Isaac Huxtable was convicted at Bristol Quarter Session on 31 December 1832 to a term of 7 years transportation. He departed England on 30 May 1833 on the Lord Lyndoch and sailing via Rio de Janeiro arrived at Port Jackson, Sydney, New South Wales on 18 October 1833.
