Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with a vine scroll, Pegasus above solid upturned cheek flap, protomes of four horses above visor / A-ΘE / MI/KI / ΘEO/ΦPA, Owl standing facing on overturned amphora inscribed with E (5th month); Nike in quadriga at right, ΣΩ (engraver's initials) below amphora, all within olive wreath. HGC 4, 1602. Thompson 318b. Well-centered obverse with full beaded border.
